Reflections

I was reflecting on what to do with the commercial space at the bottom of our maybe future building... and I was debating if it could be my office/cafe/gallery/store (gallery curated by Maudet 5).

Then I read this article. And all dreams of cafe/gallery were shot.

hmm
but your cafe's main purpose wouldn't be to make money as a cafe, wouldn't it be to bring in people to sell the furniture and whatever loot Maudet 5 brings in? To bring business to DIX

maybe. that's a good point. Remember when we went to that print shop that we thought Melise should join? I'd like something like that. I believe there was a counter, with a coffee machine. I wonder if you need a permit?

Yeah, u stick with coffee, tea water bottles and biscotti (aka long shelf life). There are quite a few galleries that work that way in Toronto and london (remember aria in angel?!)
then we host your furniture vernissage or dj launch parties :), we have a mini kitchen for the catering :)

yeah or just have food like the arch cafe did.
what kind of permit did we have there?

galleries and spaces like that must get tax breaks or arts funding incentives no?
