apparently corbs was consulted in the 50s/60s for montreal. and what he proposed was to run a highway like the bonaventure all along de la commune in old montreal to connect to the east. can you imagine old m, with a huge highway in front of it. that would have destroyed Mtl too.
someone should have taken away corbs's urban planning privileges.
yes! he did a plan to destroy the McGill ghetto and build all towers from La Cite! Only La Cite was built because the McGill students wouldn't budge.
